What is Included: The cost of the program is currently estimated at $2575. This amount may change (increase or decrease) depending on gas prices and exchange rates.

The includes the following:
Round-trip transportation by car. Registration fee. Travel insurance. Three weeks language/culture instruction at the Centre Linguistique de Jonquière. Full room and board (Lodging with host family. Breakfast and dinner with your host family, lunch at the language institute.) A variety of excursions in the Saguenay region.
What is not Included: - cost of obtaining or renewing a passport.
- in-state/out-of-state tuition for FREN 411, which you will register for during Summer II 2014 (required course for French minors).
- going to restaurants or pubs.
- participating in fee-based excursions such as whale watching.

Program Description

The Quebec program is an immersion experience based on three components: classroom instruction, your stay with a host family, and sociocultural activities. This formula provides a learning environment which will facilitate your acquisition of French and increase your awareness of Quebecois culture. This will be a Summer II course.

Non-US passport holders should consult with the faculty leader PRIOR to enrolling in the program to discuss potential visa issues.
