Program Description

The Departments of Education and Nursing Education are offering a 3-credit international experience in Jamaica. This will be in collaboration with Middlesex International College located in May Pen, Jamaica. Future teachers and nurses can come and get practical experience while enjoying the rich culture of Jamaica. During the week students will be working in schools and hospitals while experiencing special presentations in the evenings by island educational and healthcare professionsal. In addition, the weekends will be dedicated to the beauty and diversity of the island with students visiting many cultural and scenic areas.
