Program Description

Students will actively participate in volunteer activities in Puebla, Mexico to foster an awareness of social issues faced in the global south and how those issues are reflected in, and intertwined with, social issues in the US. This course, SOWK 330, emphasizes interactive, experiential education by placing curricular concepts within the context of community service.
