This trip is associated with Social Work (SOWK) 399 – International Community Service Learning, which may be substituted for Community Service Learning (SOWK 300). The application deadline is January 15, 2014.

Itinerary
Day 1: Fly to Guatemala City
Arrive at Homestays in Antiqua
Orientation in Central Park
Dinner on your own
Day 2, 3, AM- Individual Spanish Instruction
4 &5 PM – visiting non-profit NGOs in the area
Day 6: AM- Individual Spanish Instruction
PM – leave for Lake Atitlan
Day 7: Day at the Lake- visit pueblos
Day 8 : AM-Chichicastenango Market
PM – return to Antigua
Day 9, 10, 11 & 12- Community Service Learning project with NGO
Day 13- AM- Camino Seguro in Guatemala City
PM- time to explore Antigua/free time
Day 14: Depart for home
